Job title: Personal Assistant / Depute General Manager
Purpose: Maintenance of financial management control systems, overseeing Facilities Management, general construction and property management and assisting the director with various management duties.
Responsibilities: Liaising with customers and suppliers, managing staff and office, marketing and general clerical and administrative duties. Ensuring accurate maintenance of FM operations records, occasional manning FM helpdesk, assisting with management of rental properties and with property developments including obtaining planning and other consents. Carrying out financial reconciliations, credit control duties and liaising with accountants. To enable the successful candidate to become familiar with all aspects of the business they will initially be expected to undertake clerical and PA duties. The work will involve dealing with clients and suppliers so a pleasant manner and good communication skills are essential.
Location: Near Fort William, Scotland.
Starting Salary: From £20k pa, dependent on experience. Workplace pension offer.
Prospects: Great prospects. A bright person with a positive attitude to getting work done can expect to take over many of the responsibilities of the Director and become the Depute General Manager.
Relocation: Employer will consider relocation expenses for the right person who would like to move to Lochaber, the outdoor capital of the UK.

Qualifications: The successful applicant must have exceptional abilities and commitment and possess high standards of literacy, numeracy and IT skills. Full training will be given but preference will be given to applicants who have been educated to degree level and who have knowledge and/or experience in either finance or a construction discipline. It is possible that qualifications in a different discipline will suffice but business acumen and financial awareness are critical attributes.
