An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nurse to join our team in Arduthie Ward, Kincardine Community Hospital, Stonehaven as a Senior Staff Nurse, Band 6. The post is 22 hours per week covering day, night rotation and weekend work.
Suitable candidates should have post registration elderly care, palliative care and rehabilitation nursing experience and also hold a minor injury qualification.
You should have the ability to provide good quality care that is evidence based and innovative and be able to develop a diversity of skills to meet the needs of the busy environment within Arduthie Ward and the adjacent Minor Injury Unit.
We are a busy 19-bedded Ward specialising in elderly care, palliative care and rehabilitation. There is a minor injury unit which is nurse led and we have provision for day cases who require a variety of treatments and who attend the ward on a frequent basis giving the successful candidate an opportunity to develop a wide set of skills.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate clinical excellence in nursing practice, have experience in management, evidence of continuous service improvement and the ability to facilitate and manage change within a clinical environment.
We are looking for a motivated individual wishing to develop leadership skills, who will support the SCN to lead the team rising to any challenges and have the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
