The Planning Officer – Development Management is responsible, through the Development Management Team Leader, for contributing to the delivery of the land based planning service to the Council and the people of Shetland in accordance with the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Acts and the associated relevant planning and environmental Regulations.
The postholder will be required to carry out the full range of day to day functions and duties in accordance with the legislative requirements and the Council's statutory duties, policies and priorities, as directed.
