As an essential part of our Theatre team, you'll deliver high quality, clinically effective patient care at all times. We can offer you a varied surgical caseload that will help you develop your capabilities and experience and you'll enjoy the real respect, rapport and effective working of a close-knit, highly skilled, multidisciplinary team. The Theatre Suite consists of Neurosurgical and Oral Maxillo Facial Surgery specialties. These 2 specialities offer experience in difficult airway management and multi-specialty highly complex procedures. You will gain experience in both specialties, and in scrub/anaesthetics/recovery. It is essential that you are a NMC Registered Adult Nurse, or an Operating Department Practitioner with HCPC. As holding current full professional registration is an essential requirement for the post, candidates who do not complete the professional registration section of the application form or who do not hold current full registration may not be considered for shortlisting. You should have the ability to fulfil the criteria outlined in the job description while also evidencing your continued professional development. This post required you to have relevant clinical experience and in depth knowledge of department systems while having effective listening, time keeping and interpersonal skills. This is a permanent post with full time hours; these hours will be worked on 3 x 9.5 and 1 x 9.0 rotational shifts. The department provides 24 hour cover and you will be expected to participate in a fully flexible rota system, including weekends, rotation to night duty and on call. These positions are full-time.
