Job Description Based at Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week, fixed term for 12 months. You must be aged 29 or under, have graduated from any institution (including those outside the Dundee boundary) within the last 3 years, or will graduate this year, 2017 and you must live within the Dundee boundary. Please Note: As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete an online behavioural questionnaire. The link will be sent to you following the closing date with a deadline for submission. Requirements You will be educated to degree level in any academic discipline. Responsibilities You will undertake a 12 month work experience project to complete a number of specific tasks associated with promoting and developing active and sustainable travel within the city. This will involve various tasks associated with cycling and walking, including engagement with schools, planning events, field surveys and audits of infrastructure, data collation and preparation of reports and school travel plans. Other work related to sustainable transport may also be included within your remit. The Individual You will have an aptitude for working with school aged children, be a confident speaker with good presentation skills, excellent organisational skills, and be able to produce well written reports. You will also be able to work on your own initiative, deliver project results with minimum supervision, work as part of a team with attention to detail and accuracy.
