Supervise all swimming pool users and ensure their safety by adhering to the facility Normal Operation Procedures and Emergency Action Plans.
Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.33 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.
National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
Responsibilities Observe all pool users and anticipate problems. Carry out rescues and other emergency action when required. Give first aid as required. Ensure that all pool areas and changing areas are maintained in a clean and safe environment. Ensure that toilets, changing rooms, shower and swimming pool are ready for use. Ensure that all health and Safety procedures are followed. Communicate with pool users and other colleagues when performing all tasks. The Individual
It is essential that the applicant has:National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. Good levels of customer care. Able to work alone and as part of a team. Good level of Interpersonal and Communication skills.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, person who is confident working with the public and in a team. Leisure environment experience is desirable with Flexible good organisational skills.
