The Short Breaks Bureau was set up to expand the range and availability of short breaks to support carers and adults with support needs. We are looking for someone with a creative approach to developing personalised support.
You must be a educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience with substantial Social Care experience and be able to demonstrate how you have contributed to the development support services. Previous experience of managing budgets is essential. An awareness of the business aspects of Social Care provision is desirable.
You must be able to work, not only with current and potential users of the Service (carers and people with support needs) , but a wide variety of other people – Providers, Front line staff, Senior Managers, Regulatory Authorities.
This post is temporary until December 2017 to cover a period of maternity leave.
