Falkirk Council is currently recruiting for an Apprentice Waste Service Officer to assist with the co-ordination, monitoring and controlling of various waste collection services provided in the Falkirk Council area.
The Waste Management Service within Falkirk Council is a high profile service and as such we are keen to attract candidates who are willing to learn the operational aspects of managing a busy front line service.
With support, you will be expected to raise awareness of recycling and waste management services with members of the public as well as supporting the co-ordination of waste collection routes within an office setting at the depot.
Successful candidates will undertake the Modern Apprenticeship Level 2 in Waste Operations: Waste Team Leader which is work based, over a period 24 months.
Applications are invited from residents within the Falkirk Council area who are currently unemployed, aged 16 to 24 years, and meet the eligibility criteria outlined below.
Interviews will take place on Friday 28th July.

Currently unemployed, work less than 16 hours per week, on a training programme or due to complete further or higher education.
