Pupil Support Assistant (3 Posts)
Broughton High School

Salary: £14,944 - £16,850 (pro rata for part-time and sessional 39 weeks)
Hours: 30 (Monday - Friday)

Post 1: 30 hours Monday - Friday, Permanent (2 Posts)

Post 2: 17 hours Wednesday - Friday, fixed term 29 June 2018

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring person who will enjoy working with teenagers who have additional support needs. The successful candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, hardworking and will be expected to support students in a range of subjects across the secondary school curriculum.

Desired qualities:

Flexibility. Empathy. Resilience . Organised. Committed to providing the best additional support to our students. Able to quickly form positive relationships with students. Academic skills to effectively support students in a variety of subjects. Keen to support students outside of the classroom during keyworker sessions, breaks, lesson changeovers,

school arrival/departure assistance and lunchtimes. 

Willingness to assist students with toileting and movement around the school building. Energy and a positive attitude. A good sense of humour.
