You will attend to the personal, social, recreational and emotional needs of older people within a care setting and provide a stimulating environment.
Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.33 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.Requirements
Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland, in addition to which you will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council.Responsibilities
You will be required to undertake a range of personal care and domestic duties to support older people within a care home setting e.g. assisting with bathing, dressing and activities.The Individual
Good communication skills, an understanding of the needs of older people and the ability to work flexibly and as part of a team are essential.
