School Support Assistant
Broughton High School

Salary: £14,944 - £16,850 (pro rata for part-time and sessional)
Hours: 27.5 term-time only (39 weeks per year).

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to join our busy team. The role will include providing administrative support to our pupils support leaders, including taking minutes at various meetings. The role will also involve working in our welfare room, duty in the foyer / playground area at breaks and lunch times and general administrative support for various teams across the school. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy office environment and be willing to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of the service. They will also be competent users of ICT and have knowledge and experience of using databases, spreadsheets and word documents. Excellent communication skills and experience of working to tight deadlines is essential. Candidates will be expected to provide basic first aid and administer medication as appropriate. A suitable qualification in first aid or considerable experience in this area along with a willingness to undertake any necessary training is essential.
