We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join the DYW Forth Valley Team based in Alloa Business Centre. The Developing Young Workforce Forth Valley Executive Team are responsible for encouraging more employers in the region to recruit young people (16-24 year old) and to ensure more direct engagement and partnerships between education and employers. As a Modern Apprentice, you will learn on the job, gain an industry recognised qualification (SVQ in Business Administration) and get paid. You will also get the chance to develop core skills which include IT, problem solving, communication and working with others, all of which can boost your employability in a tough jobs market.
Your role will be to provide administrative support to the team and will include effectively recording information into databases, producing reports and documents, updating social media platforms, responding to e-mails and telephone calls as well as any other ad hoc administrative tasks as required. Your written and communication skills will be excellent as will be your attention to detail. You will be familiar with Microsoft Office, be able to meet deadlines and be flexible in your approach and have a keen interest in working within a busy office environment doing admin tasks. You should have a good general education to at least National 5 standard including Maths and English.
