Based in the Municipal Buildings, Kildonan Street, Coatbridge you will assist in the management, development and delivery of the functions of the Intervention and Inclusion Service. You will manage the delivery of the service for children and young people, work collaboratively with a range of agencies and services and direct and manage a staff team to ensure the priorities of the Service are met and implemented effectively.
Your main duties will include assisting senior officers in the development and delivery of statutory services which fully comply with the relevant legislation and contribute to the development of policy and practice guidance to fulfil appropriate legislative requirements.
You must be qualified to Degree standard, SVQ4 or HND in a relevant discipline and have considerable experience in managing delivery of services along with experience of work in Early Intervention and/or Inclusion and in service development. Experience in leading and developing staff is essential as is experience in financial management against policy objectives. You should be IT literate, have excellent communication skills along with management and leadership skills and the ability to meet timescales and deal effectively with challenging situations.
