Due to the current incumbent leaving the Company we currently have a vacancy for a multi skilled and self-motivated Engineer to work within Argyll seawater sites. Working in a seawater environment you will be in an autonomous role and have responsibility for supervising all planned preventative and reactive maintenance and ensuring that all plant and equipment, including generators, are maintained to the highest possible level. In addition you will be required to investigate all possible areas for improved plant utilisation and output and be required to undertake specific projects and industry training on net cleaning systems, and other key equipment.


The successful candidate should possess the following:

Experience of servicing diesel engines and outboard motors
Experience of servicing forklift trucks and cranes
Sound knowledge of hydraulics.
Detailed awareness of appropriate Health & Safety and MCA regulations
Competent knowledge of computers
Good communication skills
Full Clean Driving Licence
