As School Librarian you will be part of the School Library Services team providing access to library and information services within one or more secondary schools. You will encourage reading and literacy, support the teaching and learning taking place within the school and its associated Curriculum for Excellence experiences and outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
• strong information skills
• strong customer service skills
• be a good communicator and negotiator
• a degree in Information and Library Studies or equivalent CILIP certification
• a knowledge of supporting and delivering training
