You have or are working towards a degree or diploma in Town and Country Planning or have equivalent transferrable skills and experience. You will have or be eligible for membership of a relevant professional institute such as RTPI and hold a current valid driving licence. You will have a sound knowledge of planning and understanding of the forces which shape the environment and ideally have planning experience. As well as being able to think strategically, evaluate issues and prioritise work you should also be an effective communicator and a reliable team player with integrity, initiative, adaptability and enthusiasm.
You will play a full part in the team and have responsibility for particular policy topics and policy matters relating to a geographical area.
Fixed term for a period not exceeding 31/08/2018.
