Salary: £25.89 – £35.26 per hour (dependent on experience)

West Lothian College is pleased to announce there is a vacancy within the Construction and Motor Vehicle Centre. We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Temporary Lecturer to develop and deliver courses in Civil Engineering and the Built Environment. The successful candidate will be educated to SCQF Level 9 in an appropriate construction/engineering related subject as well as relevant practical experience.

With a proven track record in your discipline and site experience, you will deliver and assess programmes of learning from SCQF Level 5 up to Higher National Diploma level, which encourage, enthuse, excite and develop learners to a high level using a range of delivery methods.

The successful candidate must be able to engage with learners of different levels and abilities and be committed to a culture of continuous improvement and should deliver lecturers to a high standard of quality, within given time frames.

Candidates that have been selected for interview will be required to deliver a 10–15 minute presentation and undertake a competency based interview.
