You will support Housing and Building Services in continuing to improve performance and service delivery. The focus of the role is on leading and managing projects to redesign the ways in which services are delivered to customers which maximise efficiency and better meet customer needs

You will be responsible for ensuring that the Service remains at the forefront of service delivery, while also delivering significant and sustained efficiencies.

You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of the performance and development strategy and lead on the delivery of associated plans and programmes to secure current and future service objectives.

You will be the lead officer in the financial management of the Service budget, ensuring that procedures and arrangements are in place to manage budgets effectively and that best value is achieved.

You will have a relevant management qualification and a proven track record of delivering service improvements and an understanding of change and performance management systems.
