KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate ResponsibilitiesTo undertake individual role in line with the Council’s Strategic Priorities and in compliance with the Council’s corporate policies and procedures. To undertake any other reasonably required duties as instructed by Management or someone acting on their behalf, in addition to the role specific tasks & responsibilities detailed below.
Role Specific Tasks & ResponsibilitiesProvide support and advice to service users. Advocate on behalf of service users and other agencies. Maintain records in accordance with procedures and Care First. Provide reports as required. Contribute fully at team meetings in accordance with good team working and service development. Maximise service users income and benefits. Carry out initial assessments with close support and supervision. Undertake training as required. Escort service users to resources as directed.
ESSENTIAL / DESIRABLE CRITERIA
Education and QualificationsHNC Social Care OR SVQ Level 3 Social Care or equivalent HNC Social Care AND SVQ Level 3 Social Care or equivalent Application Form Interview
ExperienceExperience of working with relevant service user group Experience in the formal assessment of service users Application Form References Interview
