Job Description 1. Key holding for access and egress of all persons associated with the premises. 2. Ensure that the premises are correctly secured and alarmed in line with the building security arrangements and reporting of any damage to the client. 3. Attending the building in the event of the intruder alarm activation 4. Carry out daily building inspection to ensure that no vandalism has taken place since the previous day, making temporary repair if possible and clearing away all debris 5. Ensure that the heating system is operating satisfactorily, report failures when necessary to Call Centre and Head teacher 6. Clearance of debris and litter from school entrance 7. Removal of snow and gritting of the main path route into the main school entrance 8. Complete all paperwork as required for payroll, personnel purposes and head office. 9. Ordering, receipt, issue and control of cleaning materials for Catering and Cleaning service 10. Checking equipment and reporting faults to line manager. 11. To clean allocated areas to the required standard as delegated by the line manager. 12. Ensure safe working practices are observed in accordance with Health and Safety working practices. 13. Maintenance and safekeeping of site record book. 14. Liaison with building users, clients and client organisation. 15. Highlight to Facilities officer for any building cleaning and staffing issues (where applicable). 16. Supervision and allocation of work to staff (where applicable) on a daily basis. 17. To provide access and egress to premise and attend lets as and when required 18. To carry out annual deep clean of the premises. 19. Assist children's service with access and egress of the building for property maintenance out of school terms 20. To be responsible for Health and Safety of themselves and others. 21.
