Advert Based at the Russell Institute in Paisley, Invest in Renfrewshire Employability Service is looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience in health and employability. Working as part of an existing multi-disciplinary team you will be responsible for developing and co-ordinating a range of health supports and interventions for clients with multiple health barriers to accessing and sustaining employment. You will have experience of assessing health & wellbeing in relation to work capability and coordinating activity & interventions; working with unemployed and disadvantaged groups; knowledge of local community health practice and policy; empathetic to clients needs; effective time management and communication skills; be able to work flexible to meet clients’ needs and to engage with a wide range of Stakeholders. A SVQ level 4 qualification or equivalent in relevant discipline – Health & Social Care, Vocational Rehabilitation, Health Profession is essential or considerable relevant experience at an appropriate level. Awareness of current welfare and employability policy and experience of delivering employability support is desirable. Post is part funded through the 2014 – 2020 Lowland and Uplands European Structural and Investment Funds and is temporary to 30 September 2018 If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
