Job Description

Working Pattern: Day shift - Monday to Thursday 8am. - 4.15pm (Friday dayshift 8am - 4pm)

Backshift - Monday to Thursday 1.15pm - 9.30pm (Friday backshift 1.30pm - 9.30pm)

Saturday morning shifts on rotation - every second Saturday 9am - 12 noon.

This role ensures effective and efficient management and operation of a range of community facilities across Fife.

Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.33 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.

Requirements

Experience of cleaning, manual handling, knowledge and understanding of health and safety, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and risk assessment are essential as well as an awareness of security issues. It is also essential that you have knowledge of computerised booking systems and the ability to work with a range of client groups and service users. 

You will support the operation and delivery of Hall, Community Centre and the Community Learning and Development Centre programme and activity.

Responsibilities

You will have direct responsibility for the security and smooth operation of buildings and surrounding grounds. 

The Individual

Duties include ensuring facilities are open appropriately, cleaned and maintained to a high standard, operating booking procedures and systems and reporting, recording and following up on emergency and non- emergency repairs.
