The post of Team Manager – Children and Families Practice Team is being advertised on a permanent basis. The post holder will be expected to provide leadership and direction to a team of social workers and family support workers in the delivery of effective children and families practice team services.
To meet consumer need and ensure the service is responsive. To ensure that the work of the team is undertaken in accordance with legislation and guidance, Council policies and procedures and within agreed budgets.
A degree in social work or equivalent social work qualification.
This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
