The Hotel Receptionist will be required to interact with guests on a face to face basis, deal with incoming and make external telephone calls, deal with cash and credit card takings from the Bar/Restaurant and the Reception and balance the figures on a day to day basis.
Inputting of individual guest and group reservations will also be required. Experience of working with Microsoft Office applications would be advantageous, though full training will be provided.
Checking guests in and out of the Hotel and dealing with any issues in a polite and professional manner.
Updating our web channels to enhance our bookings potential and close out any full dates.
A smart and tidy appearance is required, as well as a confident and outgoing nature.
Rate dependent on experience. Early shifts and late shifts will be required. The Hotel is on a local bus route.
Good spoken and written English, though the ability to communicate orally & verbally in other languages is advantageous.
