Job Purpose TO BE CONSIDERED FOR INTERVIEW, ALL CANDIDATES MUST DEMONSTRATE THAT THEY MEET ALL ESSENTIAL CRITERIA ON THE ATTACHED JOB SPECIFICATION Assist with the delivery of a clean and safe customer environment within various Sports and Community Venues across East Ayrshire in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of East Ayrshire Leisure’s Business Plan. Additional Information East Ayrshire Leisure is looking to recruit a motivated and flexible person to work on an "as & when required" basis in a variety of venues throughout East Ayrshire. Assist the facility management in providing safe and fit venues for public use ensuring that all areas are cleaned and operational in accordance with health and safety legislation. Carry out a range of planned and unplanned cleaning activities throughout the establishment prior to opening. Assist in the effective delivery of Sport and Community Venues frontline services, ensuring all post activities are completed in accordance with the agreed satisfaction standards. Rate of Pay This post is on an "as & when required" basis. Rate of Pay:- £6.64 per hour. Scottish Living Wage applies. Responsibilities Undertake various cleaning activities including sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors and dusting, damp wiping, washing and polishing all other surfaces and fittings as directed. Undertake the cleaning of the shower and toilet areas ensuring any chemical or cleaning materials are used in accordance with the instructions and sufficient sanitary items are provided as directed. Utilise a range of cleaning equipment in order to carry out the duties of the post ensuring these are operated, maintained in accordance with the manufacturer instructions and securely stored after use. Undertake all cleaning activities ensuring the safe and proper use of chemicals and cleaning materials in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and COSHH guidance. Ensure adequate supplies of materials are available and stored securely ensuring replacement requisitions are timeously communicated to the Assistant Leisure Centre Supervisor, as required. Report any incidents involving colleagues, facility users and visitors to the Assistant Leisure Centre Supervisor or Duty Manager.
