Community Project Worker – Mid Argyll
Type: Part Time - 18.75 hours per week
Salary: £16,976 - £18,421 pro rata per annum
Contract: 1 Year – Fixed Term
Community Contacts offers a helping hand with SDS in Argyll through offering factbased information, advice and support with people and their families and carers when they require social care. Funded by the Scottish Government, the Community Contacts team also raises awareness of SDS within our neighbourhoods by listening and talking with community groups and by putting people in touch with others experiencing the SDS process. Working with a peer support model, the project additionally helps people to access ‘Click Go’ our web based resource which enables people to manage their support at the touch of a button.
The Community Project Worker will contribute to this project by working with
individuals, families and Mid Argyll communities to develop awareness of SDS,
to turn individual aspirations into plans, to support individuals to connect with
community activities as well as working with a peer support model.
