You will provide a traffic management service including implementation of statutory regulations, legislation related to Traffic Regulation Orders and transport engineering schemes. Duties will include undertaking analysis of road injury accidents, promoting improvements in mitigation, managing and maintaining the traffic street furniture asset base and working with internal and external contractors programming maintenance works.
A Degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent, previous experience in a roads/traffic related environment, excellent communication/IT skills and a current driving licence are essential.
This post is fixed term for a period up to 18 months.
