As a Support Worker you will join a team providing individualised support to people with a range of disabilities and support needs in Easter Ross. Successful candidates will enjoy supporting people and have a positive attitude and commitment towards making a difference to the lives of the people we support.
Duties will include supporting people with personal care, their home and finances and to develop and maintain full and active participation in the community. A commitment to a person centred approach is essential and experience of working with people with disabilities is desirable.
While applications are welcomed from all, we are particularly interested in applications from males* to join our small team to support a young man with autism.
If you would like to get involved in support work but cannot commit to a contract because you have other commitments, then there are opportunities to join our register of relief workers.
Applicants must be prepared to work flexibly as part of the team to meet the needs of the people who use our service. Supports will include work in the evenings and weekends. Sleepovers are required for which an additional payment is made.
