West Highland College UHI is looking to recruit lecturers in Professional Cookery and Bakery to be based at our Portree Learning Centre.

The suitable candidates will ideally hold an HNC qualification (or equivalent) in the subject area and have relevant/recent industry experience.

The roles will involve teaching one day a week courses, from November to March, or January to June at varying levels.

You must be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to problem solve and relate to students of all ages.

Experience of teaching is desirable but not essential as West Highland College UHI offers excellent opportunities to enhance your CPD.




Pay will be on our teaching salary scale T3-5 £27,925 - £30,415 per annum, pro-rata with placement dependent on teaching qualifications.

Working Hours:

Fixed-term contract for 22 weeks

9.24 hours per week, per course taught

Closing Date:

Friday 27th October 2017 at 12 noon


Expected to take place between 30th October and 10th November 2017
