Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced person to take up the post of Student Support Officer.

As a Student Support Officer you will provide student support for our learners across a broad range of curriculum areas. You will identify, assess and support learner support needs, develop personal learning support plans and support access to enabling technologies. What you can offer us
Educated to SCQF Level 9 or equivalent, with a willingness to work towards the PDA Inclusiveness qualification, you’ll have experience of working in partnership within a multi-disciplinary team or with external stakeholders and associated agencies, and experience in the provision of support to individuals with a range of learning disabilities.
You’ll have the ability to work autonomously to analyse complex information in order to make decisions regarding a student’s support in a confident and proportionate manner, and will have an ability to approach these complex situations with tact, diplomacy, care and compassion.
