We operate 160 venues across Glasgow including Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the Emirates Arena, Mitchell Library and the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. In addition we are proud to be responsible for Celtic Connections, the Glasgow Club and the City’s 32 local libraries.
As Glasgow Life Attendant you will assist in the provision of an efficient and effective customer service to users of Glasgow Life venues. Carry out venue routines as required, including cleaning, moving of furniture and setting up and checking equipment, securing and operating premises. Demonstrate Health and Safety good practice. Monitor the work situation. Maintain records and provide information as required. Actively contribute to increasing participation. Assist organisation to reach organisation targets. Receive cash, keep secure, reconcile, hand over cash and issue receipts as required.
To be successful in this role you have the following skills and experience:
• Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
• Proficient literacy and numeracy skills
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to work on a flexible shift pattern including regular weekend and evenings
• Be Peripatetic and able to Work in Locations across the City
• Aptitude to Work with the Public

The vacancies are 1 x 21 hours at Govanhill Neighbourhood Centre, 1 x 14 hours at Castlemilk C.C. and 1 x 14 hours at Darnley/Pollok. Salary will be pro rata.Application Packs
