To provide a care at home response service to vulnerable people in the community.
Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.51 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.Requirements
SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards.
Previous Care at Home Experience/Awareness of National Care Standards
Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Membership through Disclosure ScotlandResponsibilities
Mobile Emergency Carers provide a response service for Fife’s Community Alarm and Telecare Service.
Mobile Emergency Carers assist in Care at Home situations when a person requires assistance.
Mobile Emergency Carers are lone workers driving Council vehicles.The Individual
Mobile Emergency Carers should have a positive, caring attitude, have the ability to work on their own as well as part of a Team. Be able to undertake physical tasks.
