The successful candidate will work as part of the environment team in their support of the business aims and targets. The main role of this post is to produce and maintain the required licences and authorisations for marine and freshwater salmon production facilities. You will be responsible for the delivery of projects and discrete areas of work. This will involve using and interpreting environmental data, preparing data for licence applications. This work will include liaison with regulators, communities and other interest groups to ensure that the process of site development is carried out efficiently.
Candidates will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a background in science or planning. Work experience of environmental issues in the fish farming industry is desirable but not essential. Computer literacy and a scientific and logical approach ensuring high quality of work is essential.
