As the tax system becomes ever more complex, it is important to have advisers who can help provide comprehensive and commercial advice on a broad range of issues tailored to our client’s needs. Our Private Client team is expanding services and teams in key areas including:

- Family Office compliance and advisory services
- International advisory services
- Mergers and acquisitions tax services
- Professional Practices Solutions advisory services

Family Office

KPMG’s Family Office team understand that every family is different. We provide bespoke advice to our client’s to help them establish and operate their family office and to support the aspirations of the family and ambitions for their business.

International advisory services

The ever increasing mobility of people, their capital, and their businesses means that many people require advice which is multi-jurisdictional. KPMG’s International Private Client network is specifically designed to service such clients. Our residence and “non-dom” specialists provide assistance to those who are coming to, living in and leaving the UK.

Mergers and acquisitions

Our transactions team helps clients looking to start, grow and sell their businesses. The team provides advice on income tax and a range of capital taxes, working closely with our advisory teams to provide commercial and bespoke support to our client’s at each step of the transaction.

Professional Practice Solutions

Professional practice firms are responding to ever changing market and client needs combined with increasing regulation. Many firms are examining how their businesses are organised. Our professional practice team supports firms with restructuring, mergers and numerous projects to help deliver growth.

In everything we do, we aim to understand our clients’ needs and aspirations, applying our whole firm’s experience and skills to provide advice that helps them manage their personal tax obligations and relationship with HMRC, while working to minimise risk.

We are currently considering applications from candidates with Private Client Advisory experience particularly high-performing individuals with the skills to deliver to our client base of entrepreneurs, family business owners, high earning business executives, private wealthy individuals and their families, private equity and hedge fund partners, family offices, foreign nationals, trustees and executors in both advisory and compliance matters.

Qualifications and Skills

- CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience working with entrepreneurial businesses or tax specialist with prior experience of working in a similar environment with exposure to varied advisory assignments
