Facilities Team Leader
Grade 4 - £20,531 – £22,121 (shift allowance is additional, as is travel between sites, overtime, stand by and security.)
Forth Valley College are looking to recruit an organised, enthusiastic individual as our Team Leader to oversee up to 6 Facilities Assistants at our Alloa/Stirling Campuses. This post is responsible to the FM Co-ordinator for Hard Services. The post holder will oversee the day to day facilities operations and rotas for both Campuses cover including events/stand by and security. The College has a Total Facilities Management Contract in place and this post will also assist with the co-ordination and monitoring of proactive maintenance, reactive repairs and small works relating to this contract.
The post holder will ideally have a background in a trade and significant equivalent experience of this type of role. Excellent communication, persuasion and negotiation skills are essential as is good knowledge of health and safety and some familiarisation with IT, however training will be provided on the college systems.
This post hours are 35 hrs per week Monday – Friday, based at the Stirling Campus.
Facilities Assistants operate shifts (7am -2.30pm or 2pm to 9.30pm) (back shift is currently Tuesdays and Thursday’s during term time and these times are subject to change non-term weeks) this post is expected to operate a similar shift pattern and cover as required.
