We have fantastic opportunities for Assistant Registration Officers, within the Council's Registration Service. Reporting to and under the general direction of a Registration Officer, the Assistant Registration Officer is responsible for assisting in delivering a variety of registration services within various locations across the city. The post holder will deliver registration duties, mainly face to face, providing knowledge, guidance and support to citizens.
A Certificate in the Law and Practice of Registration in Scotland and knowledge of Registration Law procedures is essential to this post. Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and public speaking skills, with working knowledge of FER and Scotland's People. The ideal candidate will have the skills and ability to deal flexibly with a varied and diverse client group ensuring that core registration procedures and processes are met.
This position requires a Basic Disclosure. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their Disclosure.
The posts are based at 45 John Street, 23 Montrose Street and Mitchell Library and you be required to work 5 days over 7.
