Falkirk Council and Falkirk Community Trust currently applies a living wage supplement to all employees earning less than £8.51 per hour. The value of the living wage supplement is subject to regular review by the Council and the Trust, is non-contractual and can be changed at any time.
You must have an Intermediate food hygiene certificate and a relevant catering qualification. Experience of menu planning is essential. Knowledge of Cook Safe procedures along with knowledge of special dietary needs is desirable. A positive attitude, flexible approach and ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team is essential.
If you are the successful candidate for this post, you will be working with children and/or vulnerable adults and therefore you must have PVG membership.
