Highland Health & Social Care Montrose Centre, Inverlochy Post Title – Support Worker 28 hours per week, Permanent Salary Scale – HC03, £15,530 - £17,191 per annum pro rata Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, as well as their families or carers. Health and Social Care in Highland provides help and assistance in many situations arising due to illness, disability, old age or poverty. We are looking for a Support Worker to work in a team which delivers support to adults with learning disabilities, communication difficulties, personal care and complex health needs. You should be able to work as part of a team or under your own initiative, have excellent communication skills and confidence in your ability. Candidates will be willing and able to undertake training to SVQ Level 2, alongside all other training required for Service delivery. As part of helping with development, running of resources and promoting independence, the successful candidate will be expected to have some cooking/basic skills or café experience to enable the service to support people with disabilities to improve life skills. Full food hygiene training will be given. Successful applicants will be required to register with the PVG Scheme.
