Lecturer in Civil Engineering
Main Campus: Granton Campus
Full time – 35 hours per week
Salary: £35,644 - £37,765 per annum (please note the appointment is usually offered at the first point of the salary scale)
An opportunity exists within the Built Environment Team for a Lecturer in Civil Engineering. The team deliver a range of courses in architectural technology, construction management, building surveying and civil engineering and engineering at NC and HNC/D level and whilst this role is primarily to develop, prepare and deliver in civil engineering, the successful applicant would be expected to deliver units in these other areas where possible to support the work of the team.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in Civil Engineering, you will possess a wide knowledge of the curriculum area and possess broad experience in the industry. Previous teaching experience and assessment would be an advantage but not essential.
Qualifications and experience:

DesirableFormal teaching/training experience Competent CAD skills. Assessor and Verifier awards PDA ,TQFE or other teaching qualifications
The successful candidate may be required to work at any Edinburgh College campus.
