Due to the current incumbents leaving the company along with the purchase of another de-licing system we are currently looking to identify suitably qualified and highly motivated individuals to undertake the roles of Hydrolicer / Thermolicer Technicians within our seawater operations. These are new and exciting roles that form part of our new sea lice management strategy. The posts are based on workboats that have the potential to cover all our sites in Scotland and are offered on a full time, permanent basis working on a two week on two week off rota.
The role is focused on operating and maintaining equipment that removes and captures sea lice. Applications would be particularly welcome from candidates who have some experience in seawater operations however, this is not essential as full training and support would be provided.
The chosen applicants will be practical, self-motivated individuals with good communication skills. They should be flexible and willing to travel to any of our seawater sites on the west coast of Scotland and Outer Isles. Basic computer skills and some mechanical aptitude are also requirements for the post. A driving license is desirable.
We welcome enquiries from everyone and value diversity in our workforce. We are willing to consider flexible working arrangements and are an Equal Opportunities employer. Informal enquiries can be directed to Sean Anderson by email: or the Human Resources Department.
In return we offer a generous bonus, pension, Occupation Health support and training/development opportunities. If you wish to apply, please upload your Covering Letter and CV to our MHS People website by Friday 1 December 2017.
