Senior Regeneration Officer (New Build)                  
Salary £39,811 - £46,836 per annum  
Fixed Term Contract (3 years)
35 hours per week

The association wishes to recruit a Senior Regeneration Officer to play a key role in assisting the delivery of the association’s regeneration programme.

The purpose of this post is to assist in the management of the day to day delivery of the new build programme and is crucial to delivering our business objectives. 

The skill set required of candidates for this post is of a specialist technical nature; preferably holding a relevant professional qualification to degree level or chartered status in a relevant discipline covering building or construction (Architect/Quantity Surveyor) along with membership of RICS or CIOB or equivalent and demonstrable experience of running high cost new build contracts from inception to delivery.

The role involves extensive travel throughout the Argyll & Bute area, therefore a current driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is essential. The preferred location for this post is Lochgilphead but consideration will be given to locating it within other areas of Argyll & Bute in order to attract the best candidate.

SENIOR REGENERATION OFFICER (NEW BUILD)

REPORTS TO: REGENERATION MANAGER

RESPONSIBLE FOR                      NO STAFF

JOB PURPOSE

To assist the Regeneration Manager with the delivery of the new build development programme

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF POST

To manage the day to day delivery of the new build programme for a three year fixed period.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

Services

Assist the Regeneration Manager with the management of consultant design teams in the preparation of contract specification, documentation and procurement on the new build housing programme

Assist the Regeneration Manager with contract management and individual project delivery on the new build housing programme

Assist the Regeneration Manager with financial appraisals and funding submissions for the new build programme

To monitor tenant and resident satisfaction and resolve any problems between tenants and contractors

Maintain contract records and assist with the preparation of progress reports, financial reports and Key Performance Indicators.

Arrange and attend project meetings and provide support with their recording and minute taking

Occasional requirement to work out with normal office hours on an ad hoc basis as agreed with the Regeneration Manager

General
