The Role

Due to the continued growth of the recruitment team an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Recruitment Administrator to join our Team here at Optical Express. Supporting the wider Recruitment team the Recruitment Administrator will be responsible for candidate and database management, as well as ensuring compliance standards are consistently met. Building effective relationships is essential for this role, as well as excellent attention to detail. The Recruitment Administrator will utilise their excellent customer service skills to ensure that every applicant has the best possible candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Key Responsibilities

This is a key role within the wider recruitment team and essential to the success of the team. Day to day the Recruitment Administrator will be responsible for the following:

  • Drafting and sending all contracts of employment
  • Updating the Applicant Tracking System
  • Producing monthly reports on all employment offers made
  • Responsible for the full on boarding process for all employees
  • Ensuring consistent correspondence with all progressing candidates
  • Declining all unsuccessful applicants within the agreed SLA’s
  • Coordinating compliance for all new employees, including right to work and background checks
  • Responsible for requesting references for new employees
  • Submitting PVG and DBS applications and investigating any issues
  • Maintaining the recruitment filing system
  • Answering telephone queries
  • Advertising vacancies internally and on external job boards
  • Reviewing new applications on a daily basis
