The post holder is required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way. Our main kitchen provides in excess of 40 prepared and cooked meals every day including therapeutic diets to patients, staff and the public. In addition, we cater for hospitality for
meetings and functions. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised person with kitchen management skills.
You must have experience in large scale catering preferably within the NHS and hold City and guilds or S/NVQ qualifications together with a food hygiene certificate. Your duties include the preparation, cooking and service of meals. Maintain high standards of hygiene.
Recording and monitoring data for HACCP and Environmental Health.
Hours: 25 hours per week, between the hours of 8am until 5pm Monday to Sunday.
A degree of flexibility is essential, as you will be required to work additional hours during periods of leave.
