Social Pedagog Family Group Conference Co-ordinator, fixed term until March 2020.
City Chambers

Salary: £34,234 - £40,903
Hours: 36

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Family Group Decision Making service in Edinburgh as a Family Group Conference co-ordinator. The successful candidate must have a qualification in both Social Pedagogy and Social Work. You will be joining an established family decision making team bringing additional skills as a social pedagog.

Edinburgh has one of the largest family group decision making teams in Scotland and they are involved in all areas of child care where decisions need to be made. They are also currently running a pilot service to vulnerable adults in one sector of the city. They are involved in the U K wide trial of Lifelong links and there may be opportunities to be involved in some of this work if interested. The team is based on the Royal Mile at the City Chambers.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
