Cleaning Supervisor under the direction of the Area Co-ordinator Team Leader, post holder will supervise and allocate work, monitor standards and complete all required paperwork.
Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.51 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.
You will be responsible for the cleaning service provided; monitoring cleaning standards and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
Your duties will include supervision of staff, general administration and ordering materials. You will also be required to undertake general cleaning duties.
A British Institute of Cleaning Science Operatives Proficiency Certificate and previous supervisory experience is desirable.
Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain PVG Scheme Membership through Disclosure ScotlandResponsibilities
Duties may include; the cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bins, polishing and dusting of the designated areas which may include toilet and associated facilities) and fixtures and fittings, using where appropriate the necessary powered equipment.
