ARC, the University’s Health and Fitness Centre, is looking for a number of enthusiastic part-time Arc Assistants to work 20 hours per week (working hours may vary according to the needs of the service and will require weekend and evening work).
The main purpose of the roles is to provide a welcoming, efficient and approachable fitness service for GCU staff, students and the community. Duties include interaction with users of the Arc facility through telephone enquiries, bookings and appointments, front desk administrative tasks and financial transactions. The role will also involve cleaning and maintenance of the facility and equipment and setting up equipment as necessary.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role, be able to demonstrate good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills along with a flexible approach to work.
