Job Description

17.5 Hours per week

From 30th April 2018 to 30 April 2019

Salary: Grade 4 Points 18 to 22 (£25,338 to £28,055 per annum pro rata) this includes £2,500 (pro-rata) Market Allowance (which is in place until July 2020 at which point it will be reviewed).

The Workforce Development Centre at West Lothian College has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Work Based Assessor (Engineering). You will be educated to SCQF Level 8 or equivalent in the engineering industry and be assessor qualified or prepared to complete an assessor award within six months of starting. You will have a good understanding and previous experience of the engineering sector with good organisational skills to prioritise effectively and the ability to communicate at all levels in order to help others achieve.

Candidates will be required to do a 10-minute presentation, followed by competency based interview questions from the Panel.
