The role & what we require from you:

Alongside the day to day running of the café you will work with our manager to achieve the following:

• Maintain a high level of friendly customer service

• Maintain high customer service standards

• Working & communicating effectively with both our front of house & kitchen team

• Assisting with staff training & development

• Ordering & stock rotation

• Cashing up & banking

• Overseeing cleaning & HACCAP schedules are completed

• Understanding of dietary requirements & offering support/training to our team (full training given)

This role requires a person that is:

• Well organised, reliable & has a positive attitude

• Must be open to learning & improving skills

• Approachable & able to remain calm under pressure

• Able to inspire, coach & maintain high standards

• Conscientious with an eye for detail

• Occasional evening functions but these are not very often

We will give a full induction to all new assistant managers: You will have one to one training on each of our sections to show you the ropes; we wont dump you in the deep end & we will fully support you in your new role within our team
