The Team Manager will ensure that relevant statutory duties in relation to delivery of services to all adults over the age of 16 are carried out by team members.

The Team Manager will manage a team undertaking a range of statutory duties, including initial enquiries and investigations in relation to Adult Protection and personal outcome support assessments for adults who have a range of needs in relation to learning and physical disabilities and mental health conditions.

The Team Manager will monitor the use of resources to ensure the most effective and efficient delivery of service and arrange for the deployment of these resources in order to facilitate rapid decision-making within the overall context of resource allocation and to ensure that decisions reflect service users needs along with implementation of Fife Council.

Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.51 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid

Requirements

Professional qualification in Social Work and extensive post qualifying experience within community care assessment and care management setting, including experience of assessing and meeting the needs of adults with a range of needs within a challenging financial climate.

The Individual

Professional qualification in Social Work and extensive post qualifying experience within community care assessment and care management setting, including experience of assessing and meeting the needs of adults with a range of needs within a challenging financial climate.

Experience of participation in multi-agency working and working across organisational boundaries is essential.

Track record of effective multi-agency working and sound understanding of the drivers for Health and Social Care Integration.

The proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.

Evidence of strategic planning experience involving key stakeholders.

Ability to frame, facilitate and co-ordinate activities designed to achieve. organisational change.

Analytical and assessment skills to shape relevant information.

Ability to travel throughout Fife
