Supervision of all operational staff within defined area, giving instruction and guidance as required in all aspects of roads construction and maintenance, deliver winter maintenance operational plan, ensuring that all work carried out is in accordance with safe working practices and the Council’s Health and Safety policy.
The applicant will be required to work out with normal hours, including on standby, and will be required to take part in winter maintenance operations.
Core responsibilities will include management of any personnel allocated to the Area and planning and programming of works.
A current valid Driving Licence is essential as is CSCS Card at the appropriate level.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation
